Description
Methodology. Density (kg/m³) drives AU LTL freight class. Above 250 kg/m³ is dense (cheap per kg), 150–250 standard, 80–150 bulky-light (expect dim-weight pricing), under 80 is heavily volumetric. AU doesn't use the formal NMFC classes — but density is still the underlying lever in carrier rate cards.
