Methodology. Landed cost = FOB × quantity + freight + insurance + duty + GST + 3PL receiving. Per-unit cost is the basis for wholesale and retail pricing. Most brands aim for retail at 4–6× landed for ecommerce, lower for wholesale-only. GST is recoverable if you're GST-registered, but cash-flow impact is real.
